Passion: Distance Freestyler

Living on the Sunshine Coast, I am always near the water. Weekends are spent at the beach, or around a backyard pool. Even on my runs, I wear my togs under my gear for a quick easy cool off in the surf when it's all over. Swimwear is a big part of my wardrobe and when it's good, it makes me very happy!!!

Passion: Fitness

I run a women's outdoor group fitness business in Sydney. As well as being a personal trainer, I have a background in social work and worked for many years in youth health and mental health. I grew up by the beach and would split my time between surfing and swimming squad training.

Passion: Loves the water

I teach swimming to people from the age of 6 months to 60 years, with up to 5 shifts in the water per week. I am an ex state swimmer with M1 swimming club, but at present I'm moving around Victoria for my medical degree placements, so at the moment I swim for fitness most days of the week. I'm hoping to take part in a couple of open water swims in 2016.

Passion: Swim Coach

I was lucky to be accepted to University on a Young Achievers Early Offer to study nursing. I am deferring for a year to hopefully work as a swim coach and dance instructor and save some money. (Uni is expensive! lol) Currently, I am working towards obtaining my National Women's Swimming LC qualifying times after coming back from shoulder injuries.

Passion: Swim Teacher

I have been teaching differently abled children and adults in an aquatic environment for five years now and it has become a passion of mine. Over the years, I have witnessed children who are confined to wheelchairs, have very limited physical abilities or are severally autistic gain confidence and independence in the water sometimes to the point where they can actually swim 25 metres unassisted.
